But, is this a "true" bottom?

I remotely feel badly for President Obama that the economy tanked one hundred points for every decade he's been alive. Truly, I do. But my mother came home from the hospital on my 40th birthday, and we learned that my sister had leukemia on my 25th birthday. Everyone is here, thank you, and healthy, but it's not about your birthdays.

It's what you do with them.

So that's my quick and easy birthday gift to you, besides a signed copy of OBAMA GOTHIC.

You've been doing your best against insurmountable odds.

Keep doing it.

(What I feel badly about is having to listen to Anderson Cooper ask "but is this a true bottom?" I just want to wet my pants every time I even think I might hear that. Time for facebook.)

Dear President Obama:

Congratulations. I've recently turned 51, so I'm just glad you're not out of a job, such as I am.

My question to you, should I ever get to ask you, off-guard, is "would you let yourself be photographed by Robert Mapplethorpe?" and that's without knowing the story of his interchange with C. Everett Koop?

Damn. Too great a question for a White House Press Conference.

Move over Helen and Michelangelo.

Q: Have you been drinking?

A. No. I don't think it's any of your business. But it's a wonderful idea.

Other than controlling size and aspect ratios, there is no Photoshop behind this. I may even have a negative.

How positive.

How, well, bipolar.
