Depeche Mode Give It Up for Kids' Cancer
Royal Albert Hall

Depeche Mode were joined onstage by former member Alan Wilder at the Royal Albert Hall in London last night (February 17).
The keyboardist, who left Depeche Mode after 13 years in 1995, played piano on encore-opener 'Somebody' to a rapturous response from the sell-out crowd. Fans are now speculating whether Wilder's appearance at the one-off Teenage Cancer Trust show could herald a return to the band.
Introduced on stage by Teenage Cancer Trust curator Roger Daltrey, Depeche Mode performed a sprawling 20-song set strewn with classics.
The set-list was as follows:
1. In Chains
2. Wrong
3. Hole to Feed
4. Walking in My Shoes
5. It's No Good
6. A Question of Time
7. Precious
8. World In My Eyes
9. One Caress
10. Home
11. Come Back
12. Policy of Truth
13. In Your Room
14. I Feel You
15. Enjoy the Silence
16. Never Let Me Down Again
Encore:
17. Somebody (with Alan Wilder on piano)
18. Stripped
19. Photographic
20. Personal Jesus

Beat The Rain!
CNN’S CAMPBELL BROWN: Let me ask you, it's been a month since the earthquake, I mean, first struck. In your mind right now, given what you've seen, what do you think the most pressing concern is?SEAN PENN: The rain. When the rain comes, it's going to be a public health disaster. They could easily be on the scale of the earthquake itself. Disease is spreading already, tuberculosis, typhoid, tetanus, malaria. The place, you know, which already had incredible hygiene problems within the neighborhoods, now with the earthquake, this is a new disaster waiting to happen.

Sharleen Spiteri|Xanadu
Multi-million selling singer-songwriter SHARLEEN SPITERI releases her brand new album ‘THE MOVIE SONGBOOK’ through Mercury Records on March 1st 2010.The follow up to her top three debut solo album ‘Melody’, ‘The Movie Songbook’ is the ninth studio album Sharleen’s made in an incredible 21 year recording career. A collection of Sharleen’s favourite soundtracks, ‘The Movie Songbook’ stands as her most dynamically diverse album yet, a kaleidoscopic musical journey from pop to country via disco, bossa-nova, folk, rockabilly, jazz and breathtaking balladry. Enlisting 15 time Grammy award-winner Phil Ramone on production (who has produced various Hollywood legends from Marilyn Monroe to Frank Sinatra via Liza Minnelli and Barbra Streisand); ‘The Movie Songbook’ was recorded in just 8 days at the legendary Capital Studios in Hollywood with the help of the finest soundtrack session musicians around.. And the result is a fantastic collection of cinematic show stoppers. Be it the aching croon of ‘God Bless The Child’, the disco rush of ‘Xanadu’, the rockabilly sass of ‘Cat People (Putting Out Fire) or the soul-searching tempest of ‘The Sound Of Silence’, its dozen tracks frame Sharleen’s inimitable voice against bold new scenery. “Making The Movie has taught me that my true voice lies in this area and not to be scared of using it,” she agrees. “In the past I’ve always tended to go into a soul area but this experience has been great in taking me places I’d never normally go. It’s been a valuable lesson in other styles and new ways of working. I feel excited about taking that forward into Texas and wherever it is we go next.’
