Francis Bacon, 1st Viscount St Alban, KC (22 January 1561 – 9 April 1626), son of Nicholas Bacon by his second wife Anne (Cooke) Bacon, was an English philosopher, statesman, scientist, lawyer, jurist, and author. He served both as Attorney General and Lord Chancellor of England. Although his political career ended in disgrace, he remained extremely influential through his works, especially as philosophical advocate and practitioner of the scientific revolution. His dedication brought him into a rare historical group of scientists who were killed by their own experiments.

His works established and popularized an inductive methodology for scientific inquiry, often called the Baconian method or simply, the scientific method. The Sticky & Sweet Tour broke many records in terms of its ticket sales, commercial gross and audience attendance. After the first leg, it became the highest grossing tour by a solo artist by earning $282 million, breaking the previous record by Madonna herself with the Confessions Tour. The second leg of the tour was equally successful. Overall Madonna performed to over 3.5 million fans in 32 countries, grossing a total of US$408 million, making it also the second highest grossing tour of all time and the highest grossing tour by a solo artist. At the 2009 Billboard Touring Awards, the Sticky & Sweet Tour won the Top Tour and Top Draw prizes, which acknowledge the highest-grossing and highest-attended tours of the year, respectively.
The Confesstions Tour (2006) tickets were completely sold as soon as dates and venues for the concert were announced, prompting the organizers to add more dates. After its ending, the Confessions Tour was dubbed as the highest grossing tour ever for a female artist, grossing over US$194.7 million from 60 shows and 1.2 million audience.

This is what $603,000,000 looks like, in numbers, which is the combined gross from Madonna's last two outings.

Brad and Angelina ponied up $1,000,000 within hours of the Haitian earthquakes announcement, and I'm sure they'll do much more work behind the scenes. They didn't, however, send out an email to "their fans" cautioning them to "not sit idly by" as this tragedy continues to unfold exponentially.

10% of Madonna's income from her touring schedules from 2006 - 2009 adds up to a hefty $63,000,000.

She wouldn't feel the "loss" of that money like she wouldn't feel a d*ck up her *ss.
