About this blog.
Not that it's getting old, or other bloggers say the time of the blog is over, but I'm just wondering if it's time to morph into something else. It makes me laugh when I think about a million little pieces and the jewish apple.
I have books. Lots of them. Diaries. Journals.
And even they scratch the surface. But barely.
I Believe in Father Christmas|ELP
I Believe In Father ChristmasThey said there'll be snow at Christmas,
They said there'll be peace on earth,
But instead it just kept on raining,
A veil of tears for the Virgin birth.
I remember one Christmas morning,
The Winter's light and a distant choir,
And the peal of a bell and that Christmas tree smell,
And eyes full of tinsel and fire.
They sold me a dream of Christmas,
They sold me a silent night,
They told me a fairy story,
'Til I believed in the Israelite.
And I believed in Father Christmas,
And I looked to the sky with excited eyes,
Then I woke with a yawn in the first light of dawn,
And I saw him and through his disguise.
I wish you a hopeful Christmas,
I wish you a brave New Year,
All anguish, pain and sadness,
Leave your heart and let your road be clear.
They said there'd be snow at Christmas,
They said there'd be peace on earth,
Hallelujah! Noel!, be it Heaven or Hell,
The Christmas we get, we deserve.

Afghanistan & Iraq|Confirmed Deaths

God help those five families.
I have heard, first-hand, what it's like to see the Chaplin and military getting out of their official cars, wearing their official uniforms for an official situation such as these, some 4,216 times over.
When what's-his-name threw both his shoes at Bush, I wondered what 4,216 pairs of boots would look like.
Sometimes I really believe that the truly lucky are already dead.

Dear Governator:
I don't know what you draw for a salary (and perks), but it would be wonderful to see you either forego a salary altogether, or take the token $1 per year salary, that which makes a statement.
I should think you have more than enough money put away form your days as the Terminator et al.
And just because, I thought I'd show this:
