You just keep on saving the day.
Another constellation dies
Do what you want 'cause it's your own sky
Just call me when the phone stops ringing
Thanks for coming by
I'm just glad I'm on your good side
Where it's smoldering or freezing
It's never all that easy to decide
This is the land of a thousand words
But it seems so few are worth the breath to say
Except I'll be looking after my own world
And you just keep on saving the day
I'll try to stay but it's in vain when you're far
And that's the nature of the chase
You fall so far behind you end in first place
Pass the torch this time we're running to each's own regret
There'sno harm in playing hard to get
Boundlessness deceives me
Baby you may turn the corner yet
This is the land of a thousand words
But it seems so few are worth the breath to say
Except I'll be looking after my own world
And you just keep on saving the day
I'll try to stay but it's in vain when you're far
I'm on the run to wherever you are
I'm a gonna do everything I say
Tried to stay but time's running out
But now I'm on my way

(bonham/jones/page/plant)
Oh let the sun beat down upon my face, stars to fill my dream
I am a traveler of both time and space, to be where I have been
To sit with elders of the gentle race, this world has seldom seen
They talk of days for which they sit and wait and all will be revealed
Talk and song from tongues of lilting grace, whose sounds caress my ear
But not a word I heard could I relate, the story was quite clear
Oh, oh.
Oh, I been flying... mama, there aint no denyin
Ive been flying, aint no denyin, no denyin
All I see turns to brown, as the sun burns the ground
And my eyes fill with sand, as I scan this wasted land
Trying to find, trying to find where Ive been.
Oh, pilot of the storm who leaves no trace, like thoughts inside a dream
Heed the path that led me to that place, yellow desert stream
My shangri-la beneath the summer moon, I will return again
Sure as the dust that floats high and true, when movin through kashmir.
Oh, father of the four winds, fill my sails, across the sea of years
With no provision but an open face, along the straits of fear
vocal improv...

Filthy/Gorgeous
When you're walkin' down the street
And the man tries to get your business
And the people that you meet
Want to open you up like Christmas
You gotta wrap your fuzzy in a big red bow
Ain't no sum bitch gonna treat me like a ho
I'm a classy honey kissy huggy lovey dovey ghetto princess
When you're runnin' from a trick
And you trip on a hit of acid
You gotta work for the man
But your biggest moneymakers' flaccid
You gotta keep your shit together
With your feet on the ground
There ain't noone gonna listen
If you haven't made a sound
You're an acid junkie college flunky dirty puppy daddy bastard
Cuz you're filthy Oooh, and I'm gorgeous:||
You're disgusting Oooh, and you're nasty
And you can grab me oooh, cuz you're nasty
Note: I'm the gorgeous one. You're filthy.

Reselling Remix Releases Repeatedly

Seems like Martin, Dave + Fletch are going
to be raking in some post-concert green.
Long a client of photographer Anton Corbijn, whe literally gave the group the perfect visual end to their dark, gloomy, and somewhat sinister, tones. Not that Depeche Mode is all gloom+doom, what with the windfall they stand to rake in with the shuffled Digital Depeche Mode on the iTune website.
What happened is, in my opinion:
within the first few days of release, they found out consumers were cherry-picking amongst the list, probably taking Boxes 7+*, and some remix stuff, but NOT spending the full $170 for over 600 songs. And is the bonus 64-page booklet "new" or is it just reprints of album covers and previously published art?
Don't get me wrong: sure, these guys are ready for some attention, but clearly, you've misses the golden opportunity. Stay iTuned, if you know what's good for you.
Now, the digital collection is back, with previously stated items available "album only" which means, for some of us, buying, say, SPEED AND SPELL for the, what? fifth time? Lp, cassette, first CD issue, remastered CD issue) At least three times for PLAYING THE ANGEL ( This only encourages music piracy, but levels the playing field.
You guys keep delivering the "remastered" sets, and then, maybe two years (if that!) afterwards, of the "definitive" set, I'd be likely to post an entry on the various places and ways you can download material such as music + video.
It's bad enough that different retail outfits charge different prices for said items, but buying multiple quantites is, well, ludicrous. And with the increasing "album only" purchases? I'll wait until I see them loaded up on another site...all individually.

Flowers for:
Hey! Uneven, shakiest

Many clues lie in this photograph. And "Hey! Uneven, shakiest" is an anagram of the name of the object of my affections.
Yellow is the new orange.
Orange colors your walls.
The blue vase would disappear against kitchen walls painted the same color.
