I'd forgotten what'd passed for art.

Hawkman vI

Bet he was a "hit" at parties.
I can see the title now:
Hawkman by Mappplethorpe.
In the form of Frank Diaz. Photograph here.

Sadly, Flash wasn't cast in GALLIPOLI. You've got to love a guy who can run with the military jets.

Truly, the patron saint of photographers.

Dogs in New Orleans

I recommend The Coop have a ball, doggie-style, in N'Orleans.
Kill a few birds with one stone.

Swimsuit Season...again.

All the rage, in North Korea.

Too good for the Lay.

PET SHOP BOYS|Flamboyant

You live in a world of excess
where more is more
and less is much less
A day without fame
is a waste
and a question of need
is a question of taste

And You're so flamboyant
the way you look
It gets you so much attention
Your sole employment
is getting more
You want police intervention
You're so flamboyant
the way you live
You really care that they stare
And the press deployment
is always there
It's what you do for enjoyment

You live in a time of decay
when the worth of a man
is how much he can play
Every day
all the public must know
where you are, what you do
'cause your life is a show and

You're so flamboyant
the way you live
and it's not even demeaning
You're so flamboyant
It's like a drug
you use to give your life meaning
You're so flamboyant
The way you look
It gets you so much attention
Your sole employment
Is getting more
You want police intervention

Every actor needs
an audience
Every action is
a performance
It all takes courage
You know it
Just crossing the street
well, it's almost heroic
You're so flamboyant

There you are
at another preview
In a pose
the artist and you
To look so loud
may be considered tacky
collectors wear black clothes by issy miyake.

You're so flamboyant
the way you look
It gets you so much attention
Your sole employment
is getting more
You want police intervention
You're so flamboyant
The way you live
You really care that they stare
And the press deployment
is always there
It's what you do for enjoyment

You're so flamboyant

My logo is so close to this it's funny and ironic
and litigious.

Thinner, less angry.
And orange.

Will post later.

Who knew

Green Lantern was a brother?

Duran Duran

Do You Believe In Shame?
Duran Duran
(LeBon|Rhodes|Taylor)

Do you believe in love?
Do you believe in shame?
And if love can conquer all then why do we only feel the pain?

I heard you speak my name, heard you singing The Stones,
Maybe heard you laughing in a line of static on my telephone

So why your eyelids are closed, inside a case of rust,
And did you have to change all your poets fire into frozen dust?

I've tried to justify it, to learn from your mistake,
But where's the stupid lie that has to make it's point -
With such a pointless waste.

Come out...

Do you believe in shame?
Do you believe in love?
And if they taste the same would you love again or abandon both?

I don't think I ever can, belive my friend has gone,
Keep saying it's alright,
I'm going to bring you back but I know I'm wrong.
There's nothing I can say, there's nothing left to do
It's just that lately I feel so damn lonely when I think of you

And it may seem selfish now, but I'll hold on to the memory
Until all this fear is washed away

Do you believe in love?
Do you believe in life?
'Cos I believe a little part of you inside of me will never die..

'Cos I Believe a little part of you inside of me will never die..
'Cos I believe a little part of you inside of me will never die..
'Cos I believe a little part of you inside of me will never... die.

How could I NOT?

Green Lantern's Logo vI

I really didn't know about this.
Mine is oriented portrait-style.
My version has a strict set of design parameters to follow.
And when I'm in the mood, I'll post it.

Besides: the colors are all wrong, and belong to some other superhero.

Really.

Asleep at the switch, again.

Better start opening my eyes.

It's not all fun + bangs...

You should think about three dogs in your life:
two greyhounds and one seeing eye dog.
Of course for someone who needs one!

Greek + Latin

Don't forget these two.
I did.

Can't publish this tomorrow, vII

Fuck. What a life.
Overindulgence kills.
You have everything, or so much, and so little.
Command-10

He is responsible for 13'58" of disco history.
Perhaps if the Statue of Liberty had a son from Paris?

I wouldn't dare publish these tomorrow.

If I had to recast the cover of The Boy who Picked the Bullets Up, this would be it.

Found the queen, and copy-edited the type to reflect what I think now.
I couldn't publish this tomorrow.
I do have another idea.
Two, actually.

Just as flying the gay flag (traditional) would attract "attention" would it really draw bullets, bombs and IEDs?

And I'm in awe of a disco ball dropping from an arena roof?

Freedom isn't Free.

If only.

I've seriously been asleep at the switch on this one.
Reminds me, sadly, of Dan Eldon.

What would you give?

The three Moirae were:

Clotho (pronounced in English ['kləʊθəʊ], Greek Κλωθώ — "spinner") spun the thread of life from her distaff onto her spindle. Her Roman equivalent was Nona, (the 'Ninth'), who was originally a goddess called upon in the ninth month of pregnancy.
Lachesis (['lækəsɪs], Greek Λάχεσις — "alotter" or drawer of lots) measured the thread of life with her rod. Her Roman equivalent was Decima (the 'Tenth').
Atropos (['ætrəpɒs], Greek Ἄτροπος — "inexorable" or "inevitable", sometimes called Aisa) was the cutter of the thread of life. She chose the manner of a person's death. When she cut the thread with "her abhorrèd shears", someone on earth died. Her Roman equivalent was Morta ('Death').

The Moirae were supposed to appear three nights after a child's birth to determine the course of its life. The Greeks variously claimed that they were the daughters of Zeus and the Titaness Themis or of primordial beings like Nyx, Chaos or Ananke.taff onto her spindle. Her Roman equivalent was Nona, (the 'Ninth'), who was originally a goddess called upon in the ninth month of pregnancy.

Play these numbers lately?

The Twilight Zone vI

Instead of the flavour of wine,
it's the taste of ashes.
