About a dog.
Sandy (the Gibneys' pooch) Brutus Maximus, Grace Jones, Zeus, Diva and all my other canine and feline friends welcome you warmly to your new life.
A thought about a dog:
This soldier, I realized, must have had friends at home and in his regiment; yet he lay there deserted by all except his dog. I looked on, unmoved, at battles which decided the future of nations. Tearless, I had given orders which brought death to thousands. Yet here I was stirred, profoundly stirred, stirred to tears. And by what? By the grief of one dog.
Napoleon Bonaparte, on finding a dog beside the body of his dead master, licking his face and howling, on a moonlit field after a battle. Napoleon was haunted by this scene until his own death.

The rumors of the death of Photoshop are ACCURATE!!!!!
MACPHUN is here to stay...and not in the damn cloud!!!!
For those of us who have been suffering with Adobe Photoshop since v2.5 straight up to this "thing" that now resides in the Cloud for $49.99 MONTHLY or something priced ridiculously high, turn around and meet Macphun. Guaranteed you will see your photographs as never before. And, if you're using Illustrator, save in a Photoshop-compatible format, and maybe you'll get some surprising shots.
Right now? Macphun.
And the best thing? FREE TRIAL VERSIONS!!!!!
I will do my work in an adobe hut, but I'll be using Macphun.
Long time, no post.
Sorry folks....had to have some surgery.
Feeling better now...in THAT part of the body.
But forget my spine.
For those of you who don't know what scoliosis is, let me give you a quick lesson.
It's rare in men, and is basically rotting and curvature of the spine. Usually in the lower lumbar area, it can be so bad in women, they look, quite literally, like hunchbacks. I always say a prayer when I see those women, walking to church.
On woman I saw frequently, walking to church, had some spinal problem so horrifying, her chin was ALWAYS on her sternum.
On the left is an x-ray of a relatively perfect, textbook spine.
On the right is an x-ray of my spine, from the thoracic (rib cage) area, to the general area where the sacral (tailbone) just about begins.
